We'll gather to share reminiscences, verse, and music for Gene. The venue is a beautiful and lush woodland setting, where we can celebrate Gene's life and loves in a peaceful way, connected with the natural world which he so loved. Wear mourning black if that seems right to you, or come in other colors to remind us all of Gene's love of color, especially Aloha shirts! Or cowboy attire! We would like to collect photos of Gene, and also written reminiscences, thoughts, verses or anecdotes to share in mounted collages. Please send those to: cjl@ipac.caltech.edu In lieu of flowers, we request that you might like to plant one of Gene's favorite garden plants in your own garden for him: a rose, a fuschia or a fern. Alternatively if you'd like to make a donation, you could choose your favorite environmental or nature conservancy organization.
